8+ years’ experience in SAP ABAP programming

2 years’ experience in SAP HANA Modeling

Database base concepts and in-memory technology features

SQL Business Warehouse concepts

Good knowledge Business Process and SAP backend Integration

Single point of responsibility for the all of the solutions – functional
and technical

Resolves high level functional issues

Guides the Functional Specialist team in the development of the solution

Drives the requirements gathering and data architecture sessions

Ensures data integration is based on common metadata framework

Ensures business rules are implemented per the specifications/ requirements

Ensures integrated data (views) are presented to the business as valid
information

Defines and documents Business Requirements

Provides continuity in all solution decisions

Responsible for design/ build/ testing/ deployment

Work closely with BI SMEs, BI Architect, BI Developers

Focus on usability and workflows

Unit Testing, UAT, Content Migration and Deployment

Plan and layout Job scheduling requirements based on customer needs

Experience in various deployment options – Portal, Mobile, etc.

Documentation and knowledge transfer

*Lead Cognos Developer needed in Peoria, IL *

*Phone screen to hire *

*Duration:  12+ months *

Open position for a Lead Cognos Developer that will focus designing,
developing and implementing Business Intelligence (BI) solutions in Cognos
v10. In this role, you will be working directly with business partners to
gather requirements, design, develop and deploy solutions in the corporate
Cognos v10 environment. You will be working directly with IT team members
to design and implement solutions that meet corporate standards and
guidelines.



*Responsibilities and Expectations: *

• Design, develop and deploy new cubes, reports and dashboards

• Maintain and modify existing cubes, reports & scorecards

• Design and develop complex Framework manager packages for ad-hoc
reporting and report authoring

• Troubleshoot performance related issues for reports, Framework Manager
Packages

• Closely work with data warehouse team to ensure the data requirements are
complete and accurate

• Manage completion of own work assignments and coordinates work with
others.



*Additional Job Details:*

Technical Skills: 3+ years of professional experience using Cognos BI tools
2+ years of data modeling experience using Framework Manager utilizing star
schema and conformed dimensions Skills: Verbal and written communication
skills, problem solving skills, customer service, leadership, and
interpersonal skills.
