Develop, enhance, maintain, and document application programs using agency development tools and technologies in the areas of data processing, office automation, records management, and financial and accounting systems. Responsible for performance tuning of various system components and resolution of system problems. Provide application security programming to protect SoS and client information. Assess new technologies, and translate and re-orient internal business applications into browser-based applications. Ensure configuration management processes are followed for development code. Integrate applications between agencies and programs. Coordinate with business staff, communications and publishing staff, and network staff for coding extensions to network and web service facilities.
