*VB6/Classic ASP Consultant Location: Deerfield, IL Duration: 3 month plus extension (duration of project)* *Must Haves:* This role is almost 100% Classic ASP and VB6,– This is a web environment, not as much client/server Experience putting applications together MTS (Microsoft transaction server) Windows IIS experience Com object or DLL experience Experience working with API’s (they do not have had to written the API’s) SQL Server experience Testing experience Receiving order entry Good communication *Plusses: *Security admin work *Role: Overview of project:* The company is using a commerce server tool where they need to get applications out of the platform and onto the server. The API’s have been re-written and re-engineered and this candidate is responsible to change all applications to API’s and to then test it. This is done using all Classic ASP and VB6. They will be responsible to test, maintain, and install on new machines. They will be working with both internal and external users so they need to have solid communication skills.
