*Sr. Network Security Engineer * *Neenah, WI* *1 year contract * *Client: Kimberly-Clark* · Participate in medium to large sized projects; consulting to ensure data protection and system access are properly deployed. · Evaluates, tests, recommends, develops, coordinates, monitors and maintains information security for operating systems, user identities, roles, file structures, and applications. · Ensures that Information Systems security architecture, designs, plans, controls, processes, policies and procedures are aligned with overall standards. · Identifies security risks and exposures, determines the causes of security violations and suggest changes to avoid future incidents. · Solves complex problems and takes a new perspective using existing solutions. · Assists with development of security standards and procedures. · Acts as a resource for less experienced personnel. · Previous ITS and computer security experience required with at least two of the following areas: Application Security, Identity & Access Management, Cyber Risk assessment, Infrastructure Services delivery, Network Security, Information & Event Management. · Conducts investigation, analysis and review following breaches of security controls, and prepares recommendations for appropriate control improvements. · Platform ownership and strategic deployment of specific security solutions. · These solutions encompass a range of platforms such as ERP (SAP), Firewall, Security Incident & Event Management logging (enVision), Identity Management, Proxy web filtering (Webwasher), Operating Systems (UNIX, NT, Mainframe), Mobile device management, and Email (Exchange). Candidates need to be versed in Checkpoint firewall, ability to do network security architecture and design. Experience with engineering support for network security, need to prioritize multiple items in high pressure situations, strong project leadership skills, ability to translate complex topics into non-technical terms - strong communication skills. Active directory security experience preferred but not required. Candidate needs to work on-site in Neenah. However, may consider remote work for the right person (once they prove themselves) and the work allows for it. contractor must work on-site for a minimum of the first two weeks of the assignment, as well as work on-site at least once per month for the duration.
