Tasks: Perform full life-cycle activities in support of this project which will include, but not limited to: 1. Work with the architect and technical leader on design and development. 2. Accountable for meeting the milestones set for the projects. 3. Perform code review, unit, integration and performance testing. 4. Document System design, write code and mentor other resources. * * *Skills – Java/J2EE developer:* These positions require a BA/BS in computer science or equivalent experience, and more than 7 years professional software development experience in object-oriented language (Java/J2EE). Specific requirements include, but not limited to: § Strong experience of working with RDBMS (DB2) and writing/tuning SQL’s. § Strong hands on experience with latest Java/J2EE web technologies. § Extensive hands on experience with web applications using Java, J2EE, Hibernate, JSP, JDBC, JMS, Log4J and Web Services. § Good experience in writing code to export data in MS Excel and PDF formats. § Wide breadth of knowledge across many Java Open-Source technologies including AJAX, Spring Framework, Ant, Struts 2, DOJO, XML parser technology and Junit § Strong hands on experience with UML § Excellent object oriented analysis and design patterns/techniques with emphasis on Java/J2EE technology § Background with Rules Engines is a big plus § Excellent application performance tuning skills Software: 1.
