*Job Title: Java developer*
Location : San Diego,CA
Duration: 6-12 Months

*Job Responsibilities: *
I. Primary Responsibilities:
Designs, develops, writes, modifies, and implements business software
applications on a primarily Java platform. Supports and/or installs, and
integrates package software applications. Participates in the testing
process through test review and analysis, test witnessing and certification
of software. Monitors and manages change control process.
*II. Specific Responsibilities:*
Support for development of call center applications.
• Maintain development and deployment schedule for mission critical CRM
application (Infor Epiphany CRM).
• Participate in review process for determining the feasibility of new
requested features.
• Maintain thorough documentation of application.
• Provide 2nd level help desk troubleshooting.
• Develop and deploy telephone customization, including web services,
handlers and profiles. (Interactive Intelligence VoiP system).
• Perform business analysis (e.g., requirements development, process
flowcharts, functional prototypes)
• Develop/implement Oracle and SQL Server programs (e.g., Stored processes,
triggers, jobs, complex SQL queries).
• Develop and administer source code repository.
• Participate in development methodology.
• Primary Technical Point of Contact (POC) with vendor PSO consultants.
• Engage vendor support staff to address and resolve system-level defects,
and apply appropriate patch updates.
• Interface with business end-users and provide technical insight on
cross-system integration.
• Assist in all levels of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
*IV. Prerequisite Skills And Experience:*
1. Requires a minimum of five years experience developing solutions for
database driven applications (preferably on Windows and Oracle). Extensive
troubleshooting experience on windows and web based applications (Weblogic/
IIS). Proven knowledge of multiple tier application architecture. Must
have at least 3 years of development experience of web application on
a J2EEarchitecture platform and also should have some experience on
other code
platforms (C#, PHP, etc.).
2. Requires a four-year college degree in Computer Science or MIS,
supplemented by at least five years of progressively responsible related
experience, or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
Programming and other IT certifications are a plus.
3. Requires an individual who is detail-oriented with proven ability to
work effectively under conditions requiring speed and accuracy; organized
and flexible, able to handle multiple tasks and varying priorities in
deadline-oriented environment.
4. Requires ability to think strategically, use facilitation, good
project management skills, writing skills and drive cooperation and
coordinated processes for corporate success.
5. Must be able to work as a member of a team; requires courteous and
professional demeanor, with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
6. Requires minimal supervision skills; must have ability to employ
department resources and support personnel
