Support software and hardware upgrades to network servers, operating systems, and applications. · Responsible for backup integrity and recovery coordination and planning. · Must have extensive experience with standard industry practices including a variety of server types, clustering, and load balancing techniques. Possess considerable logic and understanding to analyze and troubleshoot problems. · Must be able to prioritize trouble calls and respond to emergencies and all levels of troubleshooting. · Capabilities with 8 or more years of experience, relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals, independently performs a variety of complicated tasks, a wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. · Specifically this position is a technician with HP-UX and Linux experience. · The Linux experience includes SUSI and Redhat in a VMWare environment. · The HPUX experience is with OS and hardware experience. The hardware experience should include PA RISC and Itanium platforms. · We are looking for technical skills in administering HPUX and Linux in a SAN environment, user administration, troubleshooting, and Linux template and guest creation in VMWare. Familiarity with operating system level clustering applications would be beneficial. · This position may have standby/oncall responsibilities. · Background checks will be required. *Skills Required* HP-UX 8+ Yrs.
