In Rochester Hills, MI - looking for a SharePoint Architect to facilitate Application Architecture compliance with Enterprise Architecture goals, best practices, standards, and guidelines. The SharePoint Architect will be responsible for providing technical solutions that address user requirements. This position will require travel to all company’s locations when needed. · Implements SharePoint industry standard best practices and innovative solutions · *Designs SharePoint 2010 and 2013 architecture* · *Plans and estimates effort of all aspects of SharePoint projects and initiatives based on number of users and intended uses of SharePoint* · Designs server farms and Share Services platforms · Provides technology consulting in support of new systems implementations · Identifies and recommends product customizations, enhancements, and workarounds to meet business needs · Helps the customer clarify their vision, high-level business requirements and non-functional requirements · Works with the appropriate review boards of an organization (e.g., ARB) to align the project work with the enterprise strategy · Mentors team members in technology, architecture and delivery of applications · Creates a shared sense of direction and community among the team members · Oversees the SharePoint infrastructure definition, user access, and application deployment process · Anticipates and addresses issues before they become problems · Identifies risks associated with the architecture and technologies, and recommends risk mitigation · Identifies gaps between technology and business strategy · Develops, configures and maintains SharePoint sites, lists, document libraries, workflows, wikis, enterprise lists, and site collections. · Performs knowledge transfer with peer architects and stays aware of current trends and technical advancement Need Excellent communications!!!
