This is a Senior Developer position in our reporting/ETL functional area within 
the Sapphire platform. The Sapphire platform is an in house Enrollment and 
Billing system which supports those functions for the over 65 Medicare market. 
The existing reporting architecture utilizes SQL Server 2008 R2, SSIS and SSRS, 
with the operational data being extracted from an Oracle 10g database. Within 
this architecture, the position is responsible for the extraction of data and 
the creation and maintenance of new/existing reports. In addition to the 
reporting aspects, this position is responsible for transmission of claim, 
enrollment, and financial data to/from external vendors via secure FTP and NDM. 
These activities include troubleshooting transmission failures or assisting in 
the configuration of new file transmission processes. This position is also 
accountable for providing production support for reporting, file transmissions, 
and associated Control M processes. Additionally, this position performs 
various SQL Server Administrator functions on the reporting databases. This 
position will also be involved in the following daily activities, participating 
and providing input to system requirements, producing detail technical design 
documentation, scoping project work, creating new or modifying existing 
programs based on technical design, unit testing, and collaborating with system 
testing organization in response to defects.



Technical 

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, Business or 
equivalent related work experience. • Demonstrated knowledge of SQL Server 2008 
R2 Reporting Architectures
