*Description*
Seeking a candidate with 7+ years experience in .Net and related Web
technologies to architect, design and support complex clinical
applications. Candidate must have extremely strong technical design skills
and be able to thrive in a fast paced, dynamic environment. The candidate
must strongly participate in all phases of software lifecycle development,
particularly in the analysis and design of technical specifications,
coding, testing and implementation.
This individual will work closely with the project managers, analysts and
other staff to assist in the architecture, design and development of
various enterprise web-based applications.
*Principle Duties and Responsibilities*
- Confers with designated analysts and project managers to develop
technical solutions and proposals.
- Designs, builds, implements and supports enterprise wide clinical
software systems and services.
- Participates in all phases of software lifecycle development,
particularly in architecting, coding, and implementation.
- Ability to understand and translate application requirements and user
needs into software specifications along with demonstrated ability to
analyze current and proposed functionality and propose enhancements.
- Writes technical design and requirement documents.
- Assists other members of the team with technical support in the
development and implementation of system projects as needed.
- Participation in on call duties when necessary.
- Performs all other duties as required.
*Qualifications*
- Bachelor Degree in computer science or related experience.
- 5+ years of development experience required, preferably in healthcare.
- Experience developing Asp.NET applications using C#.
- Experience with relational databases required, preferably MS SQL
Server.
- Experience with web technology: JavaScript, Ajax, Jquery/JSON,
Html/CSS, XML, IIS administration.
- Experience with web service architecture and web application design
required.
- UML/application modeling, SOA, WCF, Intersystem’s Caché, HL7/Interface
messaging, GE Centricity, and/or mobile application experience is a plus.
