* Job Summary:*
Experienced developer to assist with *mobile development* for Delta Air
Lines, Fly Delta app.  Responsible for participating in the development,
maintenance, enhancement, and support of applications.  Work competently in
a collaborative, agile development style setting to document, design,
develop, and support scalable high quality mobile eCommerce applications.
Perform work on moderate to complex projects that conform to corporate
standards in support of business area requirements with minimal supervision.

The Developer also provides support and troubleshoots computer systems as
required; optimizes performance, resolves problems, and provides timely
follow up.

Collaborate with enterprise and portfolio architects as well as the
business area to analyze technical information and produce high quality
mobile solutions for the Android platform.

Fill the role as the solution architect when needed.

Practices secure and safety-conscious behaviors in all operational
processes and procedures.

*Qualifications:*

   - Bachelor’s Degree in CS, Engineering, or IS or any equivalent
   combination of experience, education, and/or training in the computer
   systems development field. Previous airline experience ideal.
   - iOS and/or Android SDK experience Required (4.0 and higher) at least
   2-3 Years
   - Experience with web services (e.g. REST, JSON, XML) Required 2-3 Years
   - Experience with multiple platforms a plus
   - Strong Java OR Obj C background required
   - eCommerce and web development a plus
   - Ability to work within a highly collaborative, agile team environment
   - Strong understanding of all mobile ecosystems including phones,
   tablets and wearables
   - Strong understanding of testing mobile testing frameworks (e.g.
   Espresso)
   - Familiarity with crash reporting tools and debugging from the output
   of these tools a plus

 *Essential skills:*
Strong background in two of the following areas required:
- Airline or eCommerce technology
- Mobile application development
- Agile project methodology

Responsibilities:
• Deep knowledge of mobile application development in iOS
• Work as part of a cross-functional team in iterative fashion delivering
measurable progress
sprint over sprint
• Work with Architects to diagnose potential issues in complex, distributed
software systems
and design strategies before coding begins
• Working with QA/Testing to brainstorm with the team to help identify edge
cases and potential
problem areas
• Participating in architecture and design/code reviews
• Resolving bugs/defects from our defect tracking system as assigned

Qualifications
• BS in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
• 2-4 years of experience in mobile application development
• Relevant work experience shipping a killer application on the App Store
• Excellent debugging and troubleshooting skills and a talent for working
with/receiving
feedback from alpha/beta testers.
• Excellent coding skills in Objective C, Swift a plus
• Experience with one or more of the following unit test frameworks:
XCTest, OCUnit, GHUnit,

Expecta, OCHamcrest, Kiwi or other iOS test frameworks a must
• Highly proficient working in Xcode
• Proficient and comfortable in GIT VCS
• Good coding skills in Perl, shell, C, or C++ a big plus
• Experience working on AWS SDKs via SOA (service oriented architecture)
• Deep knowledge of internet technologies
