Re[2]: DBV

2003-02-27 Thread Breno A. K. Magnago
I ran it. No problem.
(Windows 2000 / Oracle 9i)

Thanks for all.

More information :

The problem, four datafile contains corrupt block.
(two indexes and two tables).
One table I used the package DBMS_REPAIR and made
a export, with DIRECT=Y (without it an error happened)
and them I imported this table. I lost only 8 rows with this
procedure.
For the other table I will make the same.
About the index, I will recreate it.

My online backup is corrupted too.

Lisa,

I'm using Windows 2000 with Oracle DataBase 9i.
And I had a similar problem with you afer install the database.
The Listener service does not show in the list of Windows services.

Try stop the listener and restart it.
Use the application "LSNRCTL" at Commaand Prompt
Type "STOP" and them "START".

Question About RMAN

I'm planning work with this aplication(RMAN).
I think that everybody agree with me after many questions in this

Today, my database are in Archive mode and I make

And I run the export utility too.

About RMAN. If I want to recover only a table ? Can I do it ?
It´s very easy to do using a export file.
And about using RMAN application ?

you can export a owner without a table.
See the note : How to Export a Database Bypassing a Table in Oracle7

But don't have any way to import Bypassing a table.
I asked it to Oracle Suport at metalink and he answered it.

What type of operation are you performing on your table?
