Hi Ron, what comes to mind first:
1. Grant select to new_user, put some dynamic sql together to issue 'create table xxx as select * from old_user.xxx;' in a loop 2. Use exp / imp with fromuser / touser. 3. Use sqlldr. Choose what fits your need. Greetings and hth, Guido >>> [EMAIL PROTECTED] 04.08.2003 18.14 Uhr >>> I need to move selected tables from one schema to another schema within the same database. The tables I need to move all start with the same prefix (abc_sometablename). Say there are 200 tables out of 1000 that I want to move. Is there an easy way to do this? Thanks!
