RE: Inverse 9i Question

2003-06-14 Thread Niall Litchfield
My answers

A) Available in 9i Release 1 only as part of DBMS_REDEFINITION - available
in 9.2 from SQL
B) Not available at all in 9i Release 1 so far as I can see - available in
9.2
C) Not available at all
D) Available
E) Wrong name - should be DBMS_XPLAN.DISPLAY.

So I'd say c),e) and maybe b) depending on what 9i is defined as. Is this an
OCP question?

RE: Inverse 9i Question

2003-06-14 Thread Freeman Robert - IL
The correct answer is C. No points for Joe's answer since it's not
supported. Oracle9i supports renaming of column names, constraint names, and
you can drop columns (note I didn't say new features as drop column was in
8i too as I recall).
