Utter bollocks. All that means is it will be cash rich companies (or well to do individuals) who can afford to put their employees/themselves through this training. I was attempting to persuade (unsuccessfully) my company to put me through the certification process before all of this. Am I missing something about the OCP program? The new required class is only required for the new 'Oracle Certified Master' Certification. You can still obtain OCP certification without taking any classes direct from Oracle, right? Steve, yes, now a/o sep 15, if you wait to start down the OCP path, you must take a ILT(instructor led training) before you can get OCP.
