RTF SQL Reference M. I recall seeing a pretty good 
section in there about ANSI SQL92, and Oracle's superset
of it.

Hi,

I don't think Oracle is *fully* compliant, but compared to others (except
for DB/2) it fairly compliant. According to Oracle's own document, O8iR2 is
fully compliant at entry-level. In addition to full compliance at the Entry
level, Oracle complies partially at the Transitional, Intermediate, and Full
levels as described in Table B-1 (including both SQL-DDL and SQL-DML).

Finally Oracle uses the case statement in 8i but the
decode is not dead yet... 

Watch for the new sql command in 9i : upsert (the
wedding of insert and update)
