Hmmm...that's interesting, since on bookpool.com you can pay less for a book
with next day delivery then you will at Amazon or B&N. And Rachel still
gets her 20 cents for every book...(grin)

By this do you mean you're still working on obtaining a copy, or you're
still working on reading it? I haven't seen any copies at the bookstore,
and last time I checked Amazon said they could deliver in one to two weeks,
which tells me they don't have any copies in stock but expect it soon. Just
wondering

2001-06-15 Thread Deshpande, Kirti

According to my information (as of yesterday) from Osborne, all ordered
copies have been shipped to the wholesalers for more than a week or so. But
not all retailers get their copies from the same wholesaler. So, some may
already be shipping, some may have run out of what they received and some
may still be awaiting to get their copies.

Thanks for ordering the book.
You will find it interesting and hope you will learn a few new things.

Take a look a bookpool.com. I have been using them for some time. They are
absolutely great. If your in MA, 2nd turns into next day automatically.
But they are generally 40% off most books, and delivery is really quick,
shipping costs are much more reasonable than B&N and paying less than list
price is not a rarety.

My suggestion would be for all of you to move to Denmark. I got Gaja's book
two

My suggestion would be for all of you to move to Denmark. I got Gaja's book two
or three days ago ;-). Several of you could easily fit into the Garage, where
we're located. We could take turns reading chapters aloud to each other.

Barnes and Noble delivers next day in NYC.
I'm spoiled. :)
When I want something next day - I don't mind paying list price for

I hope that I didn't annoy any authors with the reference to bookpool.
The way that I figure it - if I get all my books 44% off, then I buy 2x as
many books.

finding time to read them all - is another matter.

Funny thing about that - is that you actually have to read the book for it
to be any benefit.

I'm still working on Gaja's Tuning 101 book.
The Statspack book has been sitting here for 3 weeks - hadn't opened it yet.

and there are other book stores - such as Bookpool - where the price was
$29.50.

do not be assimilated.
