RE: Oracle Monitoring Tools
I am using OEM and its diagnostic pack for the monitoring. I have given me a lot of frustration. I found that once you get something works with OEM, do not touch it, since it is very sensitive to changes. OEM support from Oracle WWS has not been good either. So, my suggestion is, if you look at OEM, you should also look at other software as well. Long -Original Message- Sent: Tuesday, March 13, 2001 13:17 To: Multiple recipients of list ORACLE-L Hi all! For a more reasonably priced tool - Try NORAD Surveillance Module (Was DBGeneral), it kind of sits in between Spotlight and I/Watch from Quest, as it will give you the real time data display, and provides the back ground analysis and alarming functions.
