I finally got it to work. The book is a great help, but you still need the old trial and error method. Ken Did you look at the Sql*Loader log file? Maybe all your records were rejected and placed into the .bad file? Does a .bad file exist? Ken Did you look at the Sql*Loader log file? Maybe all your records were rejected and placed into the .bad file? Does a .bad file exist? Sql*Loader does not really consider rejected records an error - it just moves them there. Hope this helps. Ken, Check the Loader log file. The records are being rejected for some reason and Loader only tells you in the log. Jack Jack C.
