Hi,

I wonder if anyone can tell me how to change the text editor which is
invoked using the edit command in sqlplus( Plus80w ) in the Windows
enviroment. I enjoy the Unix tool vi, and have a windows/Dos based vi editor
I would like to use instead of Notepad.
For those intreseted in the tool visit www.vim.org .

Thanks
Denham

do you want to use some other editor instead of notepad?
there is an option in plus80w under Edit menu to define new editor which
will become ur default editor.
open plus80w
connect , go to Edit/editor/define..it will ask for new editor.
close.

hope it'll solve.

In the login.sql text file of your working directory, place a line like this:

define _editor=c:\winnt\notepad.exe
