Yes, but that just re-installs the prior, 2.2.0.12.0, installer. The directions say to extract the zip to "some" file. How do you tell the install where "some" is? It's been a month or two since I did this, but I did verify that the version was ...18.0, and I could swear that was the jar file I used. Just a thought...you didn't make the typo, jar -xvf for tar -xvf, when you were doing the work did you? Here's what I did: 1. Started up Disk1\install\win32\setup.exe. 2. Chose Disk1\stage\products.jar in "Path:" field as location of product list. 3. Accepted defaults for installation. 4. Thanks. The problem was with my inattention. Having unzipped the zip file, I failed to note that I had to unzip the jar file. Old age and assuming that zipped files would be .ZIP files were my problem.
