Hi lists
the flwng

DECLARE
V_sal emp.sal%type;
BEGIN
SELECT sal
INTO v_sal
FROM emp
WHERE empno=p_empno;
IF v_sal2000 then
UPDATE emp
SET sal=sal*1.2
WHERE empno=p_empno;
END IF;
END;

When I run the above, the first time the is asking the empno. But the
next time I run it is taking the same old value what I previously gave.

I need to find out, where my old value is actually stored. and I need it
to ask
 again for another value.

where my old value is actually stored?
