We need to recover a table that had been truncated. Unfortunately at this time we don't have a server large enough to copy our complete backup (I know, I've been yelling about this for over a year).
Can we copy just the tablespaces holding the SYS objects and the table we need, modify our create controlfile script (backed up to trace) and open it that way? I've never tried this before and it's rather urgent so I'm e-mailing while I'm still searching the Velpuri book. Any other suggestions are welcome.
