Re: Weird -904 Problem
Hi, I appled 8.1.6.3 patch few days back. To my surprise, another instance did not have the same problem after applying the same patch. I got another reply to run $ORACLE_HOME/javavm/install/initdbj.sql as internal user and it worked like a magic!! I am still trying to relate the javavm and export utility ! Thanks to all who replied. Now,I got to close that tar opened with Metalink which is in "work in progress" mode for sometime! Do you create the table with any strange symbol or in lowercase or mixing lower and upper or within spaces..?, As f.e.: create table weird ( "Weird Field" NUMBER ); Regards. --- "Carle, William T (Bill), NLCIO" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > Howdy, > > I had an interesting situation today. Weird -904 Problem
Howdy, I had an interesting situation today. The application was trying to insert rows into a table and was getting a -904 error for invalid column. The actual problem was that the tablespace containing the indexes was full and the index was unable to extend. That was in the alert log. However, when doing a tkprof on their sql statements, it showed every sql statement getting a -904. It doesn't seem like it should do that. Has anyone seen this before?
