SEND ME YOUR RESUMES AT nag...@dsiginc.com *Location: Columbus, OH* *Duration: 6 Months* *Client: State of Ohio* *Mode of Interview: Skype* *Experience: 4 to 5 years.* *Rate: $60/Hr.* JOB DESCRIPTION: *Network Administrator:* • Perform analysis of network needs and contributes to design of network architecture, integration, and installation. • Install and maintain local area network hardware and software, including servers, peripherals, network nodes, terminals, and wiring. • Evaluate local area network hardware and software requirements and capabilities and makes recommendations. • Coordinate installation of hardware and software by others. • Provide support to and trains users in local area network administration and usage. • Monitor and maintain network stability. • Communicate and coordinate network schedule, backups, and downtime to users. • Coordinate third-party maintenance for network hardware, software, and telecommunications services. • Prepare and maintain documentation of network configurations and cabling layouts. • Make recommendations for security enhancements and purchases. • Perform risk assessments and testing of data processing systems. • Establish system controls by developing framework for controls and levels of access; recommend improvements. • Monitor assets, network, and data ensuring the prevention of events that negatively impact confidentiality, availability, and integrity. • Review computer systems and application logs to identify and report possible violations of security. • Participate in security incident response efforts by maintaining an in-depth knowledge of common attack vectors, common security exploits, and countermeasures. Responds to all information security relevant events. • Offer technical information security consulting services to distributed personnel who are responsible for one or more information security systems; these people include Network Administrators, Systems Administrators, Software Developers, and Database Administrators Monitor and analyze attempted efforts to compromise security protocols. • Identifies and investigates activities and conducts and provides analyses regarding results.
