*POSITION TITLE : PHP LAMP Developer* *DURATION: 03 to 04 MONTHS * *LOCATION: Irvine, CA* *Interview Mode : Telephone Then Skype* *JOB DESCRIPTION – * *MUST HAVE – * · 3 – 4 years of experience in PHP / LAMP development · MVC framework experience (Zend, CodeIgniter etc) · Available to work 11 – 12 hours a day until primary project is delivered in 3 – 4 months · Must have Experience with E-Commerce projects, Candidates need to have customer facing website project experience *JOB RESPONSIBILITIES – * · Design, develop and maintain PHP based in-house tools and backend systems. · Identify sub-optimal code and refactor accordingly. · Provide unit tests and code-level documentation for all new tasks and refactors. · Actively participate in the team’s scrum and development processes. · Develop training materials and help documentation for systems that get created. · Stay abreast of best practices by researching new tools and techniques. *MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS – * · 3-4 years of experience and a strong passion for the LAMP (Linux, Apache, MySQL & PHP) development stack. · Working knowledge of memory object caching technologies like Memcached. · Knowledge of web service development and consumption (SOAP, XML, Feeds, ReST, etc.). · Experience implementing a popular PHP MVC Framework (e.g. Zend or CodeIgnitor). · Experience with JQuery, JSON, and GIThub are big pluses · Familiarity with common PHP design patterns and their implementation. · Ability to effectively use source control systems such as Subversion and Mercurial. · Excellent written and oral communication skills. · Demonstrate a proactive, can –do attitude.
