*ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES and TASKS -*


   - Assists in troubleshooting, supporting and maintaining software
   applications and supporting infrastructure.
   - Provides technical, functional and process support for assigned
   applications and business lines.
   - Installs and configures applications.
   - Assists in the development of training, process and procedural
   documentation and communiqués to improve the use and availability of
   application environments.
   - Participates on various project teams as assigned.
   - Works as a liaison with vendors and consultants to address support
   activities.
   - Maintains a working lab environment to test, train, demo and
   troubleshoot hardware/software problems.
   - Maintains a shareable library of system documentation and practices.
   - Seeks out and communicates "best practices" in the use of core
   business software.
   - Assists business units with local logistics improvement initiatives.
   - Performs tests or tasks as assigned by the area IT Manager.
   - May be required to travel up to 40% of time.
   - Required to be on-call when assigned.
   - Performs other duties as assigned.


*MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS -*
*Specialized knowledge required for this position:*


   - Maintains, monitors, supports and enhances the *SAP Business
   Intelligence environment*
   - Experience in Business Intelligence tools and technologies *(Business
   Objects XI R2, Web Intelligence, Business Objects Designer, Supervisor,
   Xcelsius, SAP Netweaver BW, SAP Portal)*
   - *Develops WAD templates, VC models, Bex queries and Bex workbooks as
   required*
   - *Designs and develops BI models including ETL, modeling, reporting,
   testing, training and hand over to end user ensuring smooth transition to
   support.*
   - *Database administration and design training and experience required*
   - Ability to plan, setup and conduct end-user training sessions
   - Strong customer service focus
   - Strong problem solving abilities - Proven experience in
   troubleshooting, testing and quality assurance techniques
   - Assists with technical upgrades and the application of SAP Notes
   - Creates and maintains systems and end-user documentation
   - Demonstrated ability to interact with all levels of management to
   assess business requirements, and to plan, manage and deliver stable,
   reliable and cost-effective IT solutions
   - Possess keen interest in new technologies and have the vision to
   identify opportunities for improving business processes


*Experience and/or education required for this position, including degrees,
licensures or certificates:*


   - University degree in related discipline.
   - *Over 8 years of relevant IT work experience.*
   - Proficient in business process and systems analysis and documentation,
   including functional specifications, data and process flows, user and
   system documentation, etc


   - Expert in IT technology.  Recommend strategies involving reporting and
   BI architecture.


*Desirable Position Requirements -*


   - Knowledge of Business Systems such as Enterprise Resource Planning
   (ERP) and Customer Relationship Management (CRM).

Experience in a manufacturing industry
