*Interview Mode: Telephonic Then Skype* *Job Description: * We are seeking an experienced SharePoint developer to design, develop, rollout and support multiple SharePoint team sites. The candidate must have a verifiable track record of hands-on design and development using proven SharePoint tools, as well as deployment of features and solutions. The candidate will be expected to perform thorough analysis, develop code, conduct unit testing and to complete deliverables on time. My client utilizes Microsoft Team Foundation Server to manage its custom code and the candidate will be expected to operate in this environment. The candidate must also interact with users to refine requirements, present technical solutions, and support them during User Acceptance Testing. The Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) process must be followed for all SharePoint projects. *REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:* - Comfortable with Visual Studio performing code development with programming languages such as C# or Visual Basic, JavaScript, HTML 5, XML, SQL and CAML; - Keen understanding of SharePoint client-side object model and what relationships are between sites, lists, libraries, metadata, workflows, and content types; - High comfort level and solid experience with SharePoint 2010 custom development in Visual Studio with managed code deployment from testing environment to production environment; - Proven hands-on knowledge of event receivers, workflows, InfoPath forms, custom web parts and custom menus; - Experience with the SDLC process with a strong focus on system documentation and process compliance; - Practical experience with writing and responding to business requirements, analyzing and working with users to best implement in SharePoint, develop, unit testing and support UAT; - Highly organized individual, capable of handling multiple competing priorities and comfortable working with a team systems administrators and business users; - Solid analytical and problem solving skills; - Solid communication and presentation skills to peers. *ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES *include the following. Other duties may be assigned as required. · Perform thorough analysis of development requirements; present technical solutions, assist with preparation of functional and system design specification documents; · Provide both written and verbal communication on development progress, issues, and risks to the team lead; · Employ standard design and development methodologies to ensure ease of maintenance for developed applications; · Use Team Foundation Server to manage code versions and storage. · Develop, improve, and comply with IT processes and procedures, e.g. change management, problem management, SOX; *REQUIRED EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:* - Associate?s degree in Computer Science/related discipline with an information technology focus. - *2+ years of SharePoint 2010 or higher. * - 2+ years of proven *SharePoint custom development in Visual Studio.* - *3+ years experience with ASP.NET/VB.NET <http://ASP.NET/VB.NET> * - *2+ years SQL Server experience, preferably SQL Server 2008 or above*.
