*Location: St. Paul, MNDuration: 6+Months* *Interview Mode: Telephonic Then Skype* *Job Description: * *Senior Software V&V Engineer* We are seeking a talented, results-oriented software engineer to join the Test Automation Team within the Software Verification and Validation team. The Senior Software V&V Engineer will be focused on taking manual test scripts and creating automated test scripts within an existing automation framework. This high caliber individual will have significant input into the day-to-day impact of defects, workflow, and the EnSite Velocity application. Responsibilities include programming, developing automated tests, debugging issues, running automated tests, requirements analysis, test execution, defect issue resolution, project leadership, and support of the engineering team's investigation of field complaints. *Impact this role will have:* * Work independently and as a team member to develop automated test scripts according to clients Medical practices, FDA regulatory, and ISO standard procedures. * Participate in the requirements, hazard analysis, and design reviews for new features. * Display initiative, leadership and coaching skills including continuous quality/engineering process improvement, project leadership, and team training. * Evaluate, recommend, and employ software tests tools to ensure software quality. * Design new test suites for new features and functionality. * Provide Test Automation perspective to R&D's ongoing product development: requirements, product and test designs, defect reviews, user workflows, and field complaint investigations. * Maintain expert status and continuing proficiency in the field of software test engineering. *Required Qualifications:** Bachelor's degree in computer science or similar. * 7*+ years of professional software test engineering experience*. * *2+ years of FDA regulated industry experience*. * *3+ years of Test Automation experience.** Experience with software development lifecycle management tools. * Organized, on-time, and responsible. * Detailed project management skills including project leadership. * Experience with Windows and LINUX operating systems. * Strong technical skill set, including spreadsheet, word processing, PowerPoint and specialized applications. * Excellent documentation skills in delivering information that adds value to management's decision making process. * Experienced in quantitative, analytical, organizational, and follow-up skills. * Polished communicator - written documentation and oral presentations/discussions/meetings * Excellent reputation for building relationships across various levels of an organization.
