• 8+ Years’ experience administering Oracle databases, running on Linux,
Solaris, AIX or HPUX

• Proven track record of building / administering databases in Oracle
versions 10g and 11g

• Proven track record of building / administering RAC environments

• Proven track record administering Oracle databases in a challenging
environment

• Strong experience with creating and administering Data Guard databases

• Strong experience with Grid Control, RAC, ASM OEM, RMAN and other Oracle
features / tools

• Experience building / administering databases in Oracle version 12c
helpful

• Experience with upgrading OEM from 11g to 13c helpful

• Experience with running Oracle database on Virtual Machines (VMWare)
helpful

• Experience in UNIX shell scripting to help in database administration
tasks will be an advantage

• Ability and willingness to follow established IT / DBA policies and
procedures

• Ability to provide technical direction to others, including application
developers

• 4 year degree (BA or BS) or equivalent work experience in a related field
of study

Required skills:
• Experience with Oracle RAC databases, replication, ASM, Oracle Enterprise
Manager, HA concepts and ETL tools
• R12 administration, SOA  WebCenter
• Must have working exposure on Golden Gate, RMAN, Data guard, DB upgrades,
PSU patching, design and architecture, OS level concepts, Middleware and
Application
 servers (e.g. Weblogic)
• Experience in UNIX and expertise on UNIX scripting languages (e.g. PERL,
shell programming).
• Strong SQL, PL/SQL and application database performance tuning skills.
• Ability to work with Data Architects on logical  physical designs
• Experience in database replication technology tools (e.g. Informatica,
Golden Gate, etc.)
• Highly accountable, strong team player with excellent analytical skills,
detail oriented to process and quality
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a can-do attitude!
• Experience supporting DB2, MS SQL or Netezza is desired but not essential
• Experience in supporting Hadoop and NoSQL (Cloudera/ MongoDB …) a
considerable plus
• Knowledge on Oracle BRM suite preferred.
• Experience in the telecom Industry would be a plus

the future production/development/test environments, which may include
