This role is specifically created to support the implementation of the Accounts Payable and Purchasing modules. The person will be responsible for all work described below. The person in this role will work with the Project Functional Lead to ensure all work required is planned, executed and monitored. This is for the implementation of PeopleSoft FSCM 9.1, providing the following overall services: * Assist in the design and implementation of the AP/PO capability for the University. * Knowledge and experience in Finance Business Process in around AP/PO and related modules * Working closely with the others on the procurement team, to configure, test and document the workings of the module and as it works with the rest of the solution. * Transferring knowledge to our Staff throughout the project. * Participating in the development of the test plans and scenarios as it relates to testing AP/PO and related modules. * Document AP/PO configuration * Work with the test lead to ensure all processes, procedures and reporting guidelines are followed * Respond to and be accountable to get work done as directed by the Project Manager as needed. * Documenting functional designs for identified customizations where needed for AP/PO. * Advising the University on the best practices related to PeopleSoft FMS v9.1 AP/PO. * Working with HCM and the Campus Solutions teams where called upon. The candidate needs to: * Comply with the system development life cycle (SDLC) in place on the project as led by the Project Managers. The PMs do make the ultimate decision on which methodologies are used and when, but would be asked to work with the client to consider changes and additions as appropriate * Facilitate the appropriate knowledge transfer within the team and business offices. The contractor(s) are expected to work a 40 hour week onsite Monday through Friday (8 Hours per day) or Monday throughThursday (10 hours per day). Local candidates should expect to work Monday through Friday. Some resources can be proposed as part-time if that makes sense but it is expected all resources would work onsite. At least 5 years prior experience implementing the AP & PO capability in PeopleSoft with some prior v 9.1 experience in an implementation. Higher Education experience is a plus. Excellent analytical, organizational, verbal and written communications skills are required. Excellent skills in utilizing MS Project, Visio and the Office Suite are important. The ability to work well in matrix management environment and to build trust and collaborate with others is essential.
