Job Description:

Informatica Administrator

Client: Dell

Location: Round Rock, TX



Responsible for administration and engineering support of production data
warehouse environments. Ensure delivery of critical reporting within
predefined SLA. Responsible to troubleshoot broken environments/tools,
develop and deploy a resolution. Work with project delivery teams to ensure
adherence to architectural standards and code defects. Collaborate with
other areas of support (infrastructure, source systems, ETL etc.) to
resolve high impact events in a timely manner. Work with vendors to resolve
production issues and keep environments updated. Work with change control
to deploy patches, service packs and other updates to keep environments
stable.

Work with logistics manager to keep hardware, software on appropriate
version. Provide recommendations on improving the availability and
stability of the production environments. Keep manager informed on
important developments and/or potential escalations. Develop knowledge base
by creating document from support experience. Manage incident/tasks while
communicating with their owners regarding resolution. Must be willing to
participate in weekend on-call rotation.



Requirements:

-Knowledge of Business Intelligence teams, concepts and technologies.

-Experience administrating in Windows Server -Experience administrating
Linux -Experience with Oracle databases -Administration and Support
Informatica
