Job Responsibilities:


- • Server Firmware Versions Review
- • Blade Profile Compliance
- • General Hardware Health Status
- • Server Age Verification
- • Warranty Coverage Verification
- • Verify Local disk storage array configuration/presence of hot spare
hard drives
- • Verify that all physical Windows servers must have their OS partition
residing on disks configured in a RAID 1 configuration
- • Hot-Pluggable Support Verification
- • Single Points of Failure Review
- • Verify two NICs are used and Ethernet cables are patched to two
separate switches
- • Verify at least 2 HBAs with multi-pathing software is used to ensure
redundancy to storage fabric as applicable
- • Verify utilizations are nominal based on defined threshold
- • Verify all servers are connected to redundant networking infrastructure
- • Verify storage and data traffic has no overlaps at any point
- • Verify two 10G/iSCSI NICs are used and Ethernet cables are patched to
two separate switches
