This is for fulltime/permanent HRIS Analyst/Oracle Functinoal Consultant in Irving, TX
As the Human Resources Information Systems Analyst (HRIS), primary focus will be the support of the HRIS system and the development of the Oracle Advanced Benefits (OAB) modules as well as other Oracle modules. In addition, you will analyze report requests and write ad hoc reports for corporate users. Responsibilities • Analyze current system and the needs of the users: be project leader, develop functional specifications, work closely with IT as code is written, develop test cases and train testers; implement project through a communication plan; coordinate project with all functional areas • Design and develop timely and accurate reports, providing analysis and interpretation of report data as required. • Analyze requests, write and customize statistical summaries and special reports from HRIS • Develop advanced and routine custom reports to meet the requirements of Human Resource management and staff. Also develop ad hoc queries using Access. • Generate ad hoc reports: pull data, calculate formulas, combine/ transform data, and analyze results. • Perform the day- to-day data collection, developing and running reports. Qualifications • Minimum 2 years of HRIS experience required. Oracle knowledge preferred: HRMS and Advanced Benefits (OAB); Oracle Payroll and Self- Service a plus. Will accept other HRIS systems such as Lawson, Ceridian, People Soft, and/or SAP. • Demonstrated skill in generating HRIS reports, including collecting and analyzing data, evaluating HR information and drawing logical conclusions. Ability to write Access and SQL queries. • Intermediate proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Access. Strong report writing tools are needed (OIEE preferred) • Ability to communicate with both technical and functional audiences, identifying and articulating customer issues/resolutions. • Must come from a fast paced, high volume environment with ability to handle a busy workload. • Flexibility with working hours based upon projects and established deadlines. • Bachelor’s degree in Business Information Systems, Human Resources, or other related field or equivalent.
