Kindly share your consultant profile matching the below skills. *Position : Cloud DevOps Engineer* *Location : San Jose, CA* *Duration : Long Term Contract* *Role and Responsibilities:* · Provide expert advice on OpenStack, AWS and Intercloud. · Contribute to the architecture, design, implementation, delivery and maintenance of solutions provided by teams across the organization. · Develop repeatable tools and processes to enable Operations teams to manage and monitor the PaaS and IaaS. · Develop repeatable tools and processes to enable Development teams to deploy, manage, and monitor their own applications in the cloud. · Participate in on-call escalations to troubleshoot customer facing issues. · Automate deployment and monitoring tasks. · Actively participates in high level team activities such as suggesting architecture improvements, recommending process improvements and conducting tool evaluations. *Qualifications * · Bachelor degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience. · Excellent verbal and written communication skills. · 3-5 years’ experience building, deploying and operating complex software in a cloud environment. · Strong experience with distributed systems. · Solid understanding of complex IP networks. · Deep familiarity with distributed configuration and high-availability. · Significant experience with cloud technologies and DevOps approaches to modern software delivery. · Experienced with modern software tools and approaches (gitflow, pull requests, unit tests, Ci/Cd environments like Jenkins). · Experienced with container infrastructure/software development, preferably with open source projects like Docker, Kubernetes, Mesos, or similar. · Extremely strong linux administration skills. · Extremely strong troubleshooting skills. · Expertise in OpenStack, AWS and Intercloud.
