Job: solution architect Location: Lombard, IL Duration: 6+ months VISA COPY MUST Job description: - 8+ years’ experience developing both web and mobile applications using the following technologies: Microsoft Visual Studio, .NET, C#, WCF, Web API, SQL, TFS, MVC, JQuery, JavaScript, and CSS - 5+ years’ experience in solution architecture with hands on experience - Evaluate technologies for technology strategy. - Assist in setting up EA governance, policies and process - Document design and product architecture. - Analyze technology issues and propose short, mid and long-term solutions. - Analyze requirements and use cases to determine approach and development strategies. - Communicate and document architectural and technical approaches and decisions. - Write documentation to support the coordination of project tasks (e.g. product roadmaps, project planning, etc.). - Write documentation to help describe the purpose and use of features, tools and functionality (e.g. work instructions, user guide, development tips and tricks, processes, etc.). - Write documentation to help instruct developers on the approach of specific implementations (e.g. solution and tool proposals, technical designs, etc.). - Write documentation for proposals to drive technical decisions such as tool selection, technology selection, etc. - Ensures processes are followed and assists with process maturity and process documentation. - Work with other senior technology leaders to propose technical solutions and help craft architecture & technology roadmap.
