Development assistance is required in each of these phases, but may be expanded depending on future needs. The candidate should have experience designing and coding complex integration components, working with quality assurance personnel, reviewing requirements with business analysts, and managing assigned units of work to support the project. The candidate will make use of Microsoft SSIS 2008 to deliver various software components to the project. Candidate should have experience with producing well-documented code according to technical architecture and specifications provided to them. Also desirable are individuals with exposure customer billing systems Main Responsibilities includes: Create detail design specifications, based on a high level design, for three iterations involving three source systems Create unit test cases Code data conversion modules converting data form source systems to a common format for one target system Document unit test results Conduct integration testing Respond rapidly to defects identified during integration testing Interacting with business users to gather test requirements. Assisting with defining ETL standards & processes. Ensuring timely delivery of required ETL tasks. Conforming to current standards and processes. Performance tuning existing ETL jobs. Job Qualifications includes: 3 + years data warehousing experience using SSIS, including some experience with the most recent versions. 2 + years experience with performance tuning of mappings. 2 + years experience with writing SQL and / or PL/SQL code. Knowledge of RDBMS. Experience working with the full life data warehouse software development lifecycle process, including analysis, ETL design, construction, and testing. Strong knowledge of data warehousing fundamentals. Excellent problem solving and organizational skills.
