The OSOS application will integrate current agency silos of employment-related information and service delivery. This enhanced system will eliminate current fragmented approaches to the provision of employment services to individuals with disabilities. The comprehensive database of available jobs in the NYSDOL Job Bank is a benefit to the disabled job seeker. As part of the project, the partnership will work on creating a reporting portal which is available to all state agencies involved in sharing data through the enhanced OSOS case management system. This reporting portal, will be developed and maintained by the client, to combine data from several data sources and allow management and public reports to be generated. The enhanced OSOS system, and corresponding reporting portal, will replace the current Client developed and maintained New York Interagency Supported Employment Report (NYISER) reporting system. *Duties Description:* * * This position will support the design and implement web portal for access to the data report portal and online reporting requirements for the OSOS project. The incumbent will perform the duties associated with the administration of Oracle OBIEE / WebCenter and Application Server platforms, which delivers the data marts consumed by the business users. Role: OBIEE ARCHITECT Location: Pittsburg, PA Duration: Long Term IMMEDIATE Long-term (1-2 years) Opportunity for OBIEE Solutions ARCHITECT to develop Reporting Strategy related to business planning in a manufacturing environment. This is NOT a developer or Lead developer position *Responsibilities: * Ability to DRIVE BUSINESS and PROCESS TEAM members through the process of understanding and uncovering business needs/intent and reporting requirements. Ability to understand the gaps of the Oracle solution and global solution and RECOMMEND solutions and a REPORTING STRATEGY. Ensure reporting needs have been assessed and addressed through thorough inquiry and discovery. Ability to DEFINE REPORTING STRATEGY and MAKE IT HAPPEN. Interacts with business clients to define, analyze, and deliver customer requirements. Responsible for understanding business/user requirements and translating those requirements into appropriately designed solutions Research reporting problems and defects as identified by QA, customers, etc.; identify appropriate solutions. Represents the organization by providing solutions to difficult technical problems associated with specific projects. Understanding of OBIEE tools such as BI Answers and BI Publisher. Works closely with technical shared service teams to deliver solution in line with corporate IT standards. *Requirements * Experience: 5+ years BI related experience with 3+ years experience developing and delivering solutions using OBIEE.
