Please reply back to a...@xtglobal.com along with the resume, contact details and rate expecting. *NEED 2 PROFESSIONAL REFERENCES FROM THEIR PROJECTS* Role: Sr. Veritas NetBackup Resoucre Location: Hoboken, NJ Duration: 6 months As a *Senior Backup Engineer* in our Enterprise Systems Engineering Department, you will be responsible for design, implementation, and maintenance of stable, high-performance, and cost effective backup environment for protecting enterprise-wide applications in a multi datacenter global environment. *Responsibilities:* - Responsible for handling complex problems -analysis of a situation requiring in-depth evaluation of various factors -plan large-scale systems projects through vendor comparison and cost studies -provide project leadership and training to junior engineers - Planning and evaluating complex existing backup and recovery systems and making recommendations for resources required to maintain and/or expand service levels - Using Netbackup and OS tools, analysis of logs, and coordination of all resources to resolve backup and restore issues - Documenting solutions, identifying issues, and participation in the creation of technical documents is essential - Responsible for Runbook Design, Development, and ongoing updates - Provide analysis of the Netbackup Environment and Best Practice knowledge transfer in the areas of Backup, Recovery and Archiving - Analyze, and review the operation process and champion the development to improve the productivity and efficiency - Provide level 3 Troubleshooting of the Netback environment - Participate in Root Cause Analysis reviews when applicable *Requirements:* - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science - Minimum of 3-5 years of experience with enterprise/global implementation, installation, patching and configuration of Veritas NetBackup Master/Media Servers - 2+ years experience supporting complex applications in Windows and UNIX environments is a plus - Strong troubleshooting skills, the ability to learn quickly, and understand complex situations - Strong skills in tape drives and tape robots are required - Experience with distributed Master/Media servers are required - Good understanding of TCP/IP networking is essential as is experience with Mixed Operating Systems (Windows and UNIX) - Proficiency in EMC hardware, software, Brocade or Cisco SAN switches are required - Network Attached Storage experience is required - NDMP experience is required - Must have a good understanding of Storage and SAN fundamentals - Experience with storage area networking - VTL and deduplication experience is strongly desired - Experience in backing up and recovering Microsoft Exchange and VMware is strongly desired - Oracle RMAN experience is strongly desired ______________ -------------------- Best Regards *Abhi *| Sr. Recruiter Xenosoft Technologies Inc, 18170 Dallas Parkway | Ste 201 | Dallas, TX 75287 a...@xtglobal.com | | www.xtglobal.com, Inc. 500 Fastest Growing Private Companies in America -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Oracle Users" group.
