Description .QA Analyst ** ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may also be assigned. Design manual and automated test suites. ** Conduct software, as required, for development, enhancement and new releases. ** Track all problems and results throughout the testing cycle. ** Report problems uncovered in the testing cycle, for new & existing applications. ** Assist less experienced staff with solving routine problems. ** Represents testing team and participates in reviews of Use Cases and other requirements documentation to obtain an understanding of systems changes in preparation for Test Case development. ** QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. ** EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: ** One or more years of directly related experience. ** Four year bachelor degree or an equivalent combination of relevant post secondary technical course work combined with or no less than 2 years software testing experience. ** Academic concentration in business, economics, computer science disciplines preferred. ** *COMMUNICATION SKILLS: * ** Excellent speaking, listening, telephone, and writing skills. Ability to compile and present written information in a clear concise manner. Interpersonal skills that enable the individual to elicit cooperation and work in a team ** *TECHNICAL SKILLS: * Data entry skills and full user functionality in all Microsoft Office Suite Applications. ** Full functionality in applying automated soft ware testing tools. ** Exposure to Web enabling tools.
