*SAP SD Functional Consultant* Client, based in Orange County, CA is looking for a senior SAP SD resource that can assist with an ecc 6.0 install for two new business units. The ideal candidate has ecc 6.0 experience, medical devices industry experience, variant configuration, oem experience (some security authorization needs) and integration to MM. Additional potential issues include pricing conditions, contracts and commission schedules.
This consultant will work closely with customer's internal SD resource and assist in coming to solid configuration decisions for ecc 6.0 for the two new business units as well as review the existing configuration and propose best business practices for existing companies within SD. *Important:* This position will start the beginning of January, 2009 and we anticipate full-time hours while on site in Orange County (for approximately 1-2 weeks). * *After that time, we anticipate scaling back to part-time hours working offsite remote. * *We anticipate a go live of June 1st for the Orange County business unit. * *In parallel, this consultant will design solutions for a New Jersey based business unit (electronics/scientific instrumentation manufacturing). Main focuses there include OEM/security authorizations and variant configuration. * *An October 1st go-live date is anticipated. Consultant will be required to visit this business unit at least one time as well. Client will pay travel expenses. All rates are inclusive when working remotely.
