Required Skills: SAS 8.x, 9.x, SAS Connect, SAS Access to Oracle; Oracle 9.x
or higher; SQL; AIX; UNIX shell scripting
**
This position is responsible for the development and maintenance of an
existing SAS ETL process.
**
Responsibilities include the execution of the process on intervals
determined by business need, performing standardized analysis and ad hoc
requests, and modifying the business rules when necessary.
**
The candidate will support a SAS architecture built on the UNIX (AIX) OS
that interfaces with both Oracle and DB2 databases.
**
The candidate is expected to effectively communicate with both internal and
external stakeholders, and is a key skill that will be required.
**
The information that is presented at the end of the process draws on data
ranging across Origination, Servicing, Credit, Agency, and other mortgage
industry related data inputs.
**
The candidate will be responsible for code development, testing,
documentation, and MIS related data analysis.
**
A Bachelors degree or equivalent in Information Technology related areas is
required along with 7-10 years of experience developing software.
**
This is not an analyst position, rather an engineering position utilizing
the SAS tool.
**
7+ years of SAS, UNIX, Oracle, and shell scripting experience is mandatory.
**
Any APEX or Web application experience is also helpful.
**
Strong SQL skills are a must. Looking for a detail oriented individual who
can work independently and autonomously to produce results and who
emphasizes integrity in their work and deliverables.
**
Good communication skills and the ability to work well with others is
essential. Mortgage industry experience and knowledge of mortgage servicing
and origination data are a strong plus.
