  Messaging Engineer-Provides Design, Build and Support for IBM WMQ, Message
Broker and Fix Engine in large Windows, Unix/Linux and Mainframe
environments. Responsible for implementing and maintaining related security
baselines as well as related application currency. Acts as a consultant on
projects and provides messaging consulting services for BTG application
development. In addition to on-call support for non-production and level 3
escalations, the messaging engineer provides support for major application
testing cycles as well as providing direct input into the Product Management
teams for ET&D messaging strategy. The Messaging Engineer will also
participate on disaster recovery testing and planning.



Both the MQ and MB roles will provide Design, Build and regular support work
(with on-call rotations).  The support work covers escalation for Level 3
production coverage as well as coverage for non-production environments.
Additionally, the roles will provide code release review and deployment,
testing support and related consulting for these activities.  Platforms
include both the Midrange AND Mainframe environments and both roles have to
be flexible in terms of work in both areas.


Candidates in either role should have 7+ years of experience in either skill
set as well as a solid foundation in designing solutions with the primary
product.  Well qualified candidates will have a background in infrastructure
management, architecture, SDLC and ITIL.
