Dear All: Please send me the best matching resumes ASAP: Senior Oracle Middle Tier Administrator (Application Server, Portal, Discoverer Administration/System Analysis and Development) We are in search of a Senior Oracle Middle Tier Administrator (Application Server, Portal, Discoverer Administration/Systems Design and Development) for the ongoing implementation of our client's Data Warehouse, the largest and most integrated social services warehouse in America. The Warehouse gives business users extensive ad hoc reporting, querying and analysis capabilities. It is used to analyze caseload dynamics, do mandated reporting, contain costs, increase revenues, manage budgets, place liens and claims, detect fraud and abuse, and respond to auditors. Hundreds of users throughout run 12,000 reports and ad hoc queries monthly. The ideal candidate will be strong in Oracle Application Server, Discoverer, Oracle Portal, and Oracle Reports, SQL*Plus, PL/SQL, JAVA/J2EE, and Oracle database with some large Oracle data warehouse experience. This opportunity is based in Downtown Brooklyn, NY. The successful candidate will meet the following requirements: . 5 years web application development on a large Oracle data warehouse, and administration of a middle tier application server. . 5 years experience with SQL+, PL/SQL, and UNIX shell scripts . 3 years experience managing system security including single sign on and directory services preferably Oracle Internet Directory and Enterprise User Security on a large scale . 3 years experience as an Oracle Application Server administrator in a large Oracle data warehouse, preferably with 10gAS. . 3 years recent experience managing Oracle Portal and Oracle Reports, including installation, upgrades, troubleshooting and configuration. . 2 years experience administering, installing, and upgrading Oracle Discoverer, including developing and maintaining a complex End User Layer. . 2 years in JAVA/J2EE environment. Tasks and Duties: . As technical infrastructure Lead, Sr. Oracle Architect will ensure the proper functioning of Oracle middle-tier software such as Application Server, Portal, Discoverer, OID, and Application Express. . Research, test, install, troubleshoot and tune new releases and patch sets for Oracle middle-tier software such as Application Server, Portal, Discoverer, OID, and Application Express. . Manage and customize infrastructure applications such as metadata, security and the Web site. . Manage turnover of applications to production. . Ensures that interfaces to OLTP systems created by Agency developers execute properly and are appropriately secured. . Provide leadership in transition to new WebLogic J2EE infrastructure.
