*Position :- Unix (Solaris) Administrator* *Location : BOISE, ID* *Duration :- 6+ Month * *JoB RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACTIVITIES: Level3 Unix (Solaris) Administrator* · Good Knowledge and experience in administration for Unix server or proven equivalent experience (6 – 8 years) · Build and maintain Solaris, Redhat Linux server infrastructure · Knowledge and experience on administration of Solaris10 and 11, Linux and migration activities from Solaris and AIX to Linux · Required knowledge on Migration from IBM P-series, Oracle Sun Sparc and HP-UX servers to Intel based hardware · Installing rhel4 ,5 and with hardware raid configuration and installation of linux OS using ask method · Configuring LVM as extending Logical Volume and Physical Volume Size · Experience in Kickstart Installation method using nfs · Remote administration with ssh service and configuring ssh without password as per user requirement · Provide in-depth low level diagnostics on all problems or issues encountered with the infrastructure. · Maintenance of DELL ( 2650, 2850, 2950) servers and HP Proliant servers with Hardware troubleshooting · Working experience on DELL DRAC and HP ILO · Vendor management with DELL and HP · Patch Management and packages installations · Working Experience in Ticketing Tools like Remedy , HPOV and CA · Performance Tuning o Ability to read / customize Shell/Perl scripts o Good understanding of virtualization, Storage, Network concepts o Experience in Large enterprises with infrastructures of 200+ servers o Proficient verbal and written communication skills – English o Technical writing experience o Basic Project management skills · Recommend and document standards for all primary OS functions. · Develop and implement processes to automate and standardize routine engineering tasks · Develop detailed specifications and implementation plans for new versions of Operating systems and other Systems software. · Work with vendors to develop, test and implement code changes to resolve problems. · Good communication Skills · Working in experience in VMware ESX server, creating VMs and installation of OS in virtual machines. · Good to have RHCE, Soalris and ITIL certification. · Must be available to work off hours or shifts as required for 24/7/365 support *Secondary Skills:* · Knowledge on Solaris 10 zones · Exposure on T series servers T2000, T5140, T5240 · Knowledge on AIX environment is a plus. *Alok Kumar* *Dynamic Software Services, Inc* Desk--4152594119 Email: a <d...@sourceinfotech.com>l...@dyssinc.com IM---kumaralok.recruiter g.talk--alokkumartekshap...@gmail.com -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Oracle Users" group.
