Job title: Cold Fusion developer
Location: Jacksonville FL
Duration: 6+ months
The developer will be responsible for supporting the existing Cold Fusion
applications as well as add new capabilities as required to these
applications. The candidate should be able to work independently and
efficiently to meet deadlines. The candidate should have good experience in
developing Internet as well as Intranet applications using Cold Fusion and
have experience with different web browser technologies.
Job Duties include but are not limited to:
*Responsible for the detail design documentation, development, unit testing
and maintenance of internally developed applications
*Write code for system designs that span platforms
*Code to and create Application Programming Interfaces (APIs)
*Write code for enhancing existing programs or developing new programs
*Write detailed technical specifications for subsystems and identify
integration points
*Estimate project timelines and resources required to complete programming
projects
*Perform unit testing and debugging and set test conditions based on code
specifications
*Supports application throughout the Product Development life cycle
*Coordinate with areas for integration architecture solutions and determine
the integration approach
*Review vendor research and gap analysis, make vendor recommendation to
technical team and client
Job Requirements:
** 2 years or more experience with Cold Fusion [Required]***
** 2 years or more experience developing web applications [Required]***
** 2 years or more experience with XML, HTML, XHTML, CSS, Web Design
[Required]***
** 2 years or more experience with JavaScript, DHTML, AJAX [Required]***
** 1 year or more experience with SQL [Required]***
** Strong fundamental understanding of HTTP protocol [Required]***
** Experience with Client-side debugging tools [Required]***
** Ability to assist in defining technical requirements ***
** 1 or more years of experience in a technical lead role [Nice to have]***
** Understanding of J2EE, MQ Series, Apache Struts, Unix Shell Scripting,
Databases, DB2, SQL, HTML, VBScript, JavaScript and XML technologies***
** Knowledge of System Development Life Cycle, product development
methodologies, database methodologies and system integration ***
** Demonstrated experience with unix (AIX) operating systems ***
** Understanding of coding design and documentation protocol as well as unit
testing, change management and release procedures ***
** Demonstrated experience programming using Cold Fusion ***
** PC Skills ***
** Demonstrated experience in Object Oriented methodology***
** Demonstrated experience using SQL or similar query language ***
** Demonstrated experience using debugging tools -RAD***
** Demonstrated experience using versioning tools (Clear case)***
** Demonstrated experience using a report-writing tool ***
** Flowcharting tools (Visio) ***
** Advanced Experience with RUP methodology and rational tools ***
** Experience developing web based services and SOA ***
** Experience developing in Hibernate and Spring***
** Healthcare industry knowledge (nice to have)*
