*JD:*

• 10+ years of software development experience in large, mission critical
(preferably financial services) organization.
• 6+ years of relevant Cognos experience in Financial Services and working
with big data required.
• Team player exhibiting professional maturity, personal integrity and
excellent interpersonal skills
• Owns issues, risks and defects, tracking them through to resolution or
escalation where appropriate
• Experience of working with multiple specialist technology groups
• Experience in on-shore/offshore model required
• Strong dimensional modeling skills required.
• Working knowledge of the Cognos Entitlements framework required.
• Working knowledge of the Cognos SDK preferred
• Experience with Cognos Mash Up Services preferred
• Experience with Cognos 10 required.
• Basic Java and java scripting skills required.
• Experience in performance tuning SQL required.
• Ability to articulate complex data problems and solutions required.
• Experience with ORACLE database platforms required
• Experience with OLAP technologies a plus.
• Experience with Operational Risk a plus.

Lead Cognos Developer with as much experience as possible within the
following tools.
• Framework Manager
• Transformer cube model designer
• Report Studio
• Cognos Workspace Advanced (CWA)
• Cognos Workspace (User Dashboard creation)
• Report Studio Dashboarding (IT Dashboard Creation)
• Report Studio Active Reports (dynamic data/drill-dwon within a report)
• Report Studio Dimensionally Modeled Reports (to build sophisticated
reports against cubes)
• Event Studio (knowledge of building sophisticated event-alerting reports)
• Metric Studio
• TM1 (This is Nice to have)
