Hi Friends, We have urgent requirement please let me know if you have anyone suitable for this. Duration: 3 months Location: Atlanta Rate: $50/hr (Note: Consultant should match all the requirements) Technical Skills Needed Required Skills: Experienced C and Informix 4GL developer Preferred Skills:. Years of experience: Minimum 10 years of development with large scale IT projects. 7 years of UNIX or Linux experience 7+ years experience in 'C' development 7+ years experience in Informix 4GL development 7+ years experience in Informix-ESQL/C development 7+ years of shell script programming experience - Korn shell preferred 7+ years experience compiling using Make 7+ years experience developing using Korn Shell Optional requirements: 2+ years experience with socket programming 2+ years experience with RPC programming 2+ years experience with Rational ClearCase 2+ years experience with OpenMake 2+ years experience with HP Software Package Builder Soft Skills Needed The candidate must be a self-starter and a creative problem solver that is dependable, highly organized, and able to prioritize and meet deadlines without full supervision. Strong oral and written communication skills are essential. The candidate must be able to create partners at all levels of the organization and team. Has a sense of urgency in order to meet our commitments and should be flexible and resilient in a dynamic environment. Project Description/Daily Assignment Detailed Description of Daily Assignment:Working on team responsible for migrating UNIX/Informix 4GL application architecture from HP-UX 11.0 (PA-RISC) to HP-UX 11.23 (IA64), consisting of 2,000+ sources files including Informix 4GL, Informix forms, C files and KSH scripts and 3 ISVs. Candidate will be expected to solve memory faults, and debug any issues that may arise with 'C' and Informix 4GL. Must be able to quickly learn new environment and offer solutions fast. Detailed Description of needed deliverable: Migration of Informix/4GL and 'C' code as well as migration of 3 ISV's: VSIFAX, Optio and Tivoly TWS.
