*Rate:**40$/HR MAX* *Client : State Client* * Job Description* • Total around 6+ years • Hands on experience in SQL Server 2008 and 2012 installation in standalone environment. • Experience in SQL server database creation, setting up logins & users. • Access control management – Assigning roles/groups and permissions to users. • Must have experience in SQL server performance tuning. • Must have experience in SQL server replication technology. • Experience in troubleshooting Databases production issues. • Backup and recovery procedures – DBA must have experience in how to troubleshoot backup failures. • Reviewing SQL server error logs. • Must have experience to understand existing environment - Jobs configurations, policies, process to perform DBA day-to-day activities. Like checking job failures, taking decision to run/not-run the jobs. • Experience in SQL server script execution thru command prompt and SSMS. • Experience in setting up database maintenance plans. • Experience in configuring jobs. • Experience in SQL server database backup, restore and post restore activities. • Experience in database migration/up-gradation from SQL 2005 to SQL 2008. • Experience in database capacity planning. • The role is of a technical lead who can work as individual contributor as well as lead the growing team of offshore DBAs in future.
