We are looking for *VMWare Administrator* for one of our client at *Georgetown,
KY*. Please let me know your interest.
*VMWare Administrator *
*Location: Georgetown, KY*
*Duration: 1 year with potential for extension*
*Rate: $40/hr*
*Role Description:* Support companywide *NAS/fileshare* solutions including
administration of new installations, environment capacity and security,
daily /weekly system checks, installation and maintenance of hardware/
software technologies to achieve business needs.
*Desired Experience: *3.00 yrs+
*Requirements/Must Have: *
· 3+ years’ experience administering windows server operating
systems.
· A solid working knowledge and demonstrated technical proficiency
in installing, troubleshooting and resolving problems using Microsoft
products.
· Experience working with VMware vSphere.
· Experience installing and troubleshooting server hardware
components such *as Fiber, Network cards, disk drives, memory,* etc.
· Experience in applying firmware upgrades to hardware and patches
to MS Operating system software.
· Experience working with various levels of technical individuals
at remote locations to resolve problems or in implementing new servers.
· Experience using a ticket management system for work
prioritization and daily workload management
· At least five years of project management experience.
· Experience in utilizing resource planning tools and databases.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
· Ability to interact positively and effectively with others
including the ability to work well in a team environment.
· Strong planning and decision-making skills.
· Ability to multi-task and balance company and customer
requirements.
· Ability to build consensus among individuals with wide-ranging
backgrounds (e.g. technical, management, contracts, etc.) to complete
assigned tasking and actions
· Experience in identifying, researching, evaluating, analyzing and
recommending solutions to resolve project-related issues
· Experience in tracking the status of events required to complete
assigned actions.
· Ability to work independently at times with minimal oversight
